Learning of the functional characteristics of the various types of furnaces in Saint-Gobain and of design tools. Understanding the choice of refractories and furnace geometry •Target: engineers and technicians QUALITY OF MELTED GLASS: IDENTIFICATION OF PUNCTUAL DEFECTS Knowledge of the factors which may generate defects in melted glass and therefore reduce the output of the production units.
