WCM FOR GENERAL MANAGERS Top Management involvement is crucial for the successful deployment of WCM and to ensure a continuous, sustainable and significant outcome. To demonstrate this commitment General Managers need to be familiar with the full range of WCM concepts and issues at Group level as well as how they need to be applied within the business.

• A practical course which is held at a Bronze standard plant • Review of Global WCM deployment within SG. • Input from the Plant Manager concerned. • Plant visit and in-depth interaction with shop-floor personnel. • Feedback and exchanges with members of the WCM Steerco. Teaching techniques includes presentations, discussions and plant visit

• A pre-assessment grid, which enables the course content to be customised according to the group’s specific needs.
